GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES The Muwen Tang Collection Series Vol. 19 by Simon Kwan The catalogue features 449 Chinese glass snuff bottles from the Muwen Tang Collection, with introductory assays on the subjects of history, technology, terminology and auspicious motives etc. Many new and useful information about Chinese glass snuff bottles extracted from Qing dynasty writings and Palace Workshops Archive are being examined and analyzed. The controversial subjects of Guyuet Xuan, Yangzhou School and snuff bottle Workshops of the Qing dynasty are fully discussed. |
